This project is a complete restyling of an apartment in Rome, set within a historic architectural context. The intervention enhances the original character — high wooden ceilings, deep window niches and generous proportions — while introducing a contemporary, material-oriented aesthetic.
The intimate areas, such as the bedroom, feature bespoke furniture by Ekaterina Studio, including a custom TV unit with sliding wooden panels that hide the screen and create a serene visual rhythm. Natural fabrics, warm textures and a soft headboard shape a calming atmosphere.
In the living area, leather elements, sculptural pieces and rough marmorino walls add depth and tactility, creating a balanced dialogue between heritage and modern design. The outcome is a refined blend of Roman identity and contemporary craftsmanship.
